Changelog
Alle Zeiger-Releases und was sich geändert hat.
New Features
-
Zeiger checks for a new version when it starts. When one is available, the title bar shows an "Update available" button, which opens the download page.
-
The Properties window shows the metadata of the camera and the file:
- Camera, lens, date taken, exposure time, aperture, ISO, exposure compensation, focal length, flash, white balance and more.
- Artist, copyright, description and comment.
- The GPS position: latitude, longitude, altitude and direction.
- Zeiger reads this data from JPEG, TIFF, PNG, WebP, JPEG XL and HEIF/HEIC files.
-
When you move to another image, its file name shows at the top of the window for a moment, also when the controls are hidden.
Improvements
-
New app logo and icons. The logo on the start screen is sharp at 200% display scale.
-
Long file names in the title bar are cut to fit between the logo and the window buttons.
-
Scrolling in Settings and Properties follows the system setting for lines per notch.
-
Improved resizing behavior on Windows
Bugfixes
-
Fix crash on Windows when it starts with a 16-bit or HDR image, for example after a double click on a 16-bit PNG or an EXR file.
-
OpenEXR and Radiance HDR images show with the correct brightness. Before, Zeiger read their linear values as display values, and the images were too dark.
